Counselling@Work
My private practice is based in a quiet location in Mill Hill, North West London and in central London. Each session will be for 50 minutes, and usually we will meet once a week. My focus here will be to encourage a feeling of comfort so that we can talk about and work together with whatever it might be that has led you to seek counselling.
It could be that you want to find a quick solution to a symptom or you find yourself in the midst of a crisis, or that something in your history is impacting your present. Perhaps you feel you have lost direction or that you find yourself repeating unwanted patterns or behaviours; or it could be you need clarity about what is happening in your life at this moment, not knowing exactly what it is that you are looking for. However typical or distinct you may believe your issues to be, your journey to understanding and dealing with them is unique to you, and it is this which will form the basis of our sessions.
My approach to counselling is psychodynamic, but in practice I seek to determine a style of working to suit your needs. An initial appointment is offered as soon as possible after our first contact. During that meeting we will discuss the issues that you believe are most important, and assess how we might work together.
